A mama’s body undergoes so much during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. The last thing you need is to be uncomfortable when you’re loved up in your newborn bubble. Enter: Partum Panties.
These babies are an absolute essential in your postpartum recovery. Designed specifically with mamas in mind, Partum Panties don’t pull up tightly or bunch up on any caesarean or perineum wounds. They allow you to stress-less about the postpartum bleeding so you can focus your energy on your new bundle of joy. The super soft fabric will make your postpartum journey as comfortable as possible and, the best part?: They’re discreet enough to wear under your clothes without everyone knowing you’re matching your baby.
Don’t want to take them off after that postpartum bleeding is finished? (No judgement, we didn’t either). You can dig these back out during menstruation to wear overnight or when you have heavier bleeding days.
Not sure how many you need?
We recommended at least three packs (each pack contains 5 panties), as the panties are designed to support you in those first few heavier days to a week. They can also be worn in your labour once your waters have broken. Have a chat with your care provider as to how often you should be changing your panties - generally it is every couple of hours.
Size Medium fits an average women's size of 8-12 and a waist 75-110cm.
Size Large fits an average women's size of 14-18 and a waist of 100-140cm.
A quick note from the Dear Mamas:
We recommend sizing up for at least the first pack you use postpartum when everything is swollen (IYKYK).
Why we love this brand
Partum Panties was founded by a Gold Coast registered midwife and mama. She knows her stuff! The idea for Partum Panties was born when she watched many of her mama clients struggle to find comfortable and well-fitting underwear for their postpartum journey. We love how supportive, soft, and feminine these panties are - definitely the way to a new mama’s heart.
