I’m buying for a mama friend - where do I start?
How generous are you?! (Also: can we be your friend?). If talk about breast pumps and baby carriers goes over your head, then our bundles are a no-brainer. We’ve done the hard work for you and curated products that go together better than tea and cookies (speaking of cookies - have you seen our lactation ones?!).
How will I know if a product is right for me?
We try our best to have as much information in our product descriptions so that you can make an informed decision about your purchase. We have curated the products that we loved using during our own pregnancies, births, and beyond. Having said that, if you’re ever unsure about whether a product is right for you and your journey, please consult your health care professional. All of the information we have provided to you on our website are for reference purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for health advice from a professional.
How do I place an order with Dear Mama?
Ordering online from Dear Mama is easy! When you fall in love with one (or all) of our products, simply select the quantity needed of each item and then click ‘Add to Cart’.
You can review the items in your Cart at any time by clicking on the ‘My Cart’ icon (it looks like a cute shopping bag) in the top right corner of every page. Once you have reviewed the items in your shopping cart, you can either continue shopping (Mama, go back and get that item you’ve been eyeing off #treatyourself) or continue to checkout and place your order.
How do I checkout?
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3, Mama.
- Once you have your selected items in your Cart, simply click the ‘Checkout’ button. You will then be prompted to either sign in to your account, or checkout with Applepay, PayPal, ShopPay or GPay.
- Next, choose your preferred shipping method and enter any discount codes or gift card that you may want to use. Check all of your details are correct on this screen so that your order goes to the right place.
- Finally, you will be directed to complete your payment.
And, voila! A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address containing the contents of your order.
I’ve just placed an order. Where is my confirmation email?
Please allow up to 2 hours for your confirmation email to be received in your registered email address inbox. The email may be hiding in your junk/spam mail folder, so check that too. If you still have not received your confirmation email after this time, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can investigate it for you.
Can I have my order gift wrapped?
You betcha! Once you add all of your products to your cart, there will be a checkbox option that says:
Would you like us to wrap the products in this order? Our gift to you, Mama.
Tick that, and voila! Your order will come beautifully wrapped.
How much is shipping?
We offer standard delivery, flat rate shipping for $9.95 Australia wide! And free shipping on all orders over $100!
Can I track my order?
You bet! Once you have placed your order and we have dispatched it, you will get an email from us with your tracking information. This could be up to 2 days after you have placed the order.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We know you’ll want your Dear Mama Store goodies as quickly as possible after ordering. That is why we dispatch all of our orders within 2 business days of the order being placed and paid for.
Why can’t I set my address to post offices and PO boxes?
Dear Mama Store ships with Sendle, who specialise in door-to-door delivery, which is why we need a physical street address. Sendle can’t deliver to Australia Post-owned properties (this includes post offices, PO boxes, locked bags, parcel lockers or parcel collect locations) because Australia Post restricts delivery to these locations.
Can I change or cancel my order once I've placed it?
If you want to change your order please email email@example.com with your order details as soon as possible and we will try to help you. We are efficient little things (we’re mamas, after all) and work hard to get your orders to you as quickly as possible, so there is a chance that your order has already been sent out.
Once an order has been processed and shipped, we won’t be able to make any changes. Check our Returns and Refunds Policy for more details.
How can I update my address details?
It is possible to update your address details, but you have to be quick! Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and address details as quickly as possible. Changes to your shipping address can only be made if your order has not already been shipped.
Does Dear Mama have any physical stores?
We are 100% online, so we are available for your retail therapy needs at any time of the day (including those 2am feeds).
Will you ship to me internationally?
We would love to service all of the Dear Mamas worldwide, but at the moment our Australian warehouse can only ship to our Mamas in Australia.
Can I order by telephone?
No, sorry. We are 100% online.
What if an item is sold out?
Agh! There’s nothing worse! Don’t worry, Mama we should have any sold out products back in no time! To get alerted when your favourite item is back in stock, click "Notify Me When Available" under those pesky “Sold Out” words and enter your email into the pop up.
What payment methods does Dear Mama accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and Afterpay.
How does Afterpay work?
Is it safe to use my credit card on Dear Mama?
Absolutely. We securely encrypt your data so that your precious mat leave savings are safe! Don’t believe us? Click on the little padlock icon in your browser when you are accessing a secure page (like ours!).
Will you give out my details to third parties?

Did you know we now offer FREE local pick up for our Gold Coast Mamas?
That's right! We know sometimes you just can't wait for the postie to arrive so we know offer free local pick up for our Gold Coast based Mamas.
We are based in Southport on the Gold Coast and will personally contact all of our local pick up orders to arrange a suitable time for you - we know mama (and mama-to-be) life is busy!
We can't wait to meet you.
GIFTS + GIFT CARDS
Can I buy a gift on Dear Mama Store and have it shipped as one?
Trying to earn brownie points from your Mama friend? Great idea! All of our products are so gift-worthy! All you need to do is enter the details of the Mama you are sending the gift to during the checkout process, and tick the “this is a gift” section to give us a heads up. We’ll make sure that we don’t include any order confirmation/payment details in the order packaging - we’ll only send that to your email.
Not sure what to buy your mama friend? Our bundles are a GREAT place to start!
I’m wanting to treat a Mama friend by buying a Dear Mama Store gift card. Is that something you offer?
You betcha! Great idea! They’ll love you for it.
Can I get a refund on a gift card?
Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds on gift cards once they have been purchased. However, if you have any issues with a product you have bought using your gift card please view our Returns and Refunds Policy
How do I redeem my gift card?
Add your items to your cart in the usual way, then when you’re ready to pay you can choose to pay with your gift card. If you don’t have the exact amount on your gift card to cover the transaction, you can cover the rest with any of our other payment options we offer.
What currencies do Dear Mama gift cards come in?
Dear Mama gift cards are only available in AUD.
